After all that, turns out there was a shitty weld up above the fridge. Chase

was able to fix it for $306. Now we just need to clean up the water damage and

drywall.

Emma said it's still leaking, so we'll see what that means when she gets

home from Belfast errands.

Talked to Michelle. She put a claim in on Foremost and we should have a an

adjuster call us back either today or Monday to get a look and see what

insurance will cover.

Trying to call Giliian Lydick at Cross Insurance about getting an adjuster out

to the house in an emergency but I'm having trouble getting through.

Finally did get through to Michelle, but she's out to lunch. Hoping she can

get back to me soonish.

So we have Chase coming by later today to take a look at potential plumbing

issues. Brandon's going to stop by tomorrow morning to rake the roof off. I

can't get any roofers to respond in an emergency, but Juanita's still at the

house trying to get the water cleaned up off the floor.

Amanda seems to be taking things not horribly. She expressed her interest

in providing the sellers with a credit to help with repairs rather than back

out of the sale, but we'll see what happens next.

On the plus side of all the negative, we do have a decent insurance policy,

and it will probably cover all this.

I called about the roof. They said they may be able to take a look in a few

weeks, but asked a lot of questions and may have some ideas.

Called and he said it was probably an ice damn and to take the snow a few

feet off the edge of the roof. I think I believe him.

I also texted with Chase at CC Plumbing about it possibly being plumbing

related. He said he'd do his best to stop by today to take a look but

couldn't promise he'd have time.
