A curious mother's day. I dropped the ball in terms of getting Emma something, but we had a hilarious adventure trying to get breakfast. I had proposed Markel's last night, and in the morning we rolled into town to find them closed on Sundays. So we improvised.
Running into T&C we found they had no breakfast sandwiches. Instead we had to grab some muffins for the kids and bean burritos for us along with some banquet sausages. We ran home to microwave our breakfast, and still managed to make it to church with a few minutes to spare.
The rest of the day was taken up with making a homemade pasta supper with our new pasta roller. It was a delightful meal, though took a ton more time that we expected it too. I did feel pretty good when I managed to get the kitchen clean afterward.
