Journal
It's our 12th wedding anniversary today, and the weather could not have been
more perfect. A light wind out of the south and about ten degrees cooler than
the mid 80s of the past few days. The torrential floods of a squall line
yesterday yielded beautiful weather today.
Amy was in the pulpit at church and I found myself really engrossed for the
first half of her sermon on grace, though later in the service my mind wandered
to my own sermon coming up in August.
Emma called the ball and told the girls we're not making it to Chicago next
weekend. I feel terrible, but I also feel like it's the responsible choice.
