Writing this super late for no apparent reason. Margaret's sermon today was a
good reminder about the nature of joy. Joy is not something you go out and do.
Nothing that winds up on your to-do list. Rather, joy is something you
encounter, or find along the way. I like that.
I need to do a better job of ticking things off my list. The ME200 committee
stuff is starting to bother me because it's work I'm not good at like
cold-calling or hitting people up for things. I thought I was mostly
volunteering as a liason to the selectboard, but there's a shit ton of work to
do.
I also am feeling really depressed lately about the state of the house and our
finances. I think I need to do three things in the next week to feel good going
into the new year:
1. Do a detailed monthly financial retro for the past three months
2. Call Camden National and clean up my credit score
3. Reach out to a few more mortgage brokers to get quotes on refi plus cash out
options
