The last few days have been pretty uneventful. I managed to get up early two more days in a row and go for a run, which is not quite a record. I think the last time I tried this early-running thing I did it for a little over a week. But it's still nice to be up early, even if I end up sleepy in the afternoon.

The other nice side-effect of running early is that when I get home I'm already outside, so taking care of the chickens has very little friction.

Emma Sweet and Silas Sewell went out to Silver Ridge Farm to pick strawberries today. Asa Sewell stayed home beacuse he hasn't been feeling well. He threw up twice this morning. And Jane stayed because she was in the middle of reading.

I got a little bit of cultivation done in the garden when I went out to move the goats' fence. Yesterday I had great energy to get garden work done, but today was harder.

The turkeys were not in the coop last night when Jess went to close them up last night. Turns out they flew over the fence. I don't know where they spent the night, but when I steppd out for my run they were all hanging out by the garden fence!
