Journal

Nabby was super congested last night when I brought her to bed, so I laid with

her for a little while until it was clear she wasn't going to settle in bed. I

took her downstairs to sleep on the couch, where she had been able to sleep

earlier in the night while I watched the NBA playoffs. I managed to get about an

hour of sleep until around 4:30 when I brought her back upstairs.

This morning, however, I only managed to sleep in until about 8, when Silas came

in and woke me up. Nabby was also screaming downstairs. When I finally got

dressed around 8:30 I found Emma frantically making an apple pie, which must

have been why she was just ignoring Nabby crying.

As a result of all of the above, I'm exhausted. Good thing today is a garden

clean up day.
