I wonder about the extent to which the date picker field is at fault. A few other questions jumped to mind:
1. Can they save any other fields?
2. If yes, can they save other date fields?
I also did some digging in metabase and it seems the value is definitely not updated. There are only two values in the db for the attribute in question (only two users have the value set), and they were updated on August 13 and August 31. That does make me wonder what was released after August 31, and how they set the values to begin with (via the form, or an import)
