- Note taken on

First off, thanks for both making your expectations for these meetings explicit, and for walking me through that product interaction on BE-6936 last week. I feel like you've really set me up to be proactive in being part of those product discussions and given me agency over our one on ones.

1. Leverage

- In on-boarding, secondary script call in the dev setup process in the justfile, consolidating setup steps to one tool

- I've nearly completed my meet-and-greets with fellow engineers and managers

- I'm working on my first feature PR, adding filtering for Pairings and learning a lot about how to interact with product

2. Alignment

- I'm still working through parking lot tickets and "onboarding" tickets, which are getting me familiar with the code base and the PR flow

- Excited to be kicking of product work this afternoon with Rose and the pod

- Enjoying getting to know folks, joined the book club and am thinking about resurrecting the game-geeks Slack channel for weekly or monthly online board gaming.

3. Risks

- I'm not 100% confident jumping into arbitrary PRs and doing reviews yet

- There's a risk that I'm not totally confident and/or feel like I'm bothering folks for PR reviews

- I also have had a few places where either AI tests cases clogged up PRs, or where I just missed an artifact of the AI generation, which felt a little embarrassing. Though I am new to using Cursor, and I'd like to get better at it.

- Definitely still the "embarrassed" phase of pushign up AI code

4. Outcomes

- Will be getting at least three pull requests approvals with comments out this week

- Get my first feature PR up without as much test coverage artifacts from AI
