Sorting out moving Nextcloud files to syncthing folders and ended up distrated

by an old diary file. This is a fascinating process. Writing the way things are

at a given point in your day, your life. Four years ago feels like a much longer

span when the flow of your life changes so much. Yet something remain the same.

In those posts my thoughts were about as scattered as they are now, but I

observed more about the daily state of things. The weather, how I was feeling. I

think I was doing a better job of capturing the mood, rather than commenting on

a single thing or two. Maybe I'll try going back to that.

Either way, it's a trip seeing shit about working at Five Q and how real the

stress of those jobs felt. There's always this fear of losing pace or falling

behind in my entries.

But to tonight. I got stuck watching videos, mostly having discovered Babish's

cooking videos. Not the end of the world getting distracted by good food, but it

certainly wasn't on my list of projects or tasks.

Nabby is sleeping on me tonight. This is our routine with her. Emma goes to bed

and gets a solid cycle in, at least 2 or 3 hours, and the I bring her up to

nurse and snuggle her. I don't know why Emma can't sleep well with a baby in

bed, but it's never been a strength. Meanwhile I'm a night owl, so this works

fine for me. But I probably ought to be thinking towards bed, otherwise

tomorrow's gonna be a shit show.

Thinking I'll make mini eclairs and mini churros for the Super Bowl party at

King HIll Farm. We'll see what I manage to finish. Emma wants to take the kids

up to a ballet show in Bucksport after church, so time is becoming precious.
