Today

- An absolute gem of a day. It started out a bit overcast and cloudy but during

lunch the clouds burned off and gave way to party sunny skies with a lot of

warmth despite a cool breeze. We got out for a walk as a family today with all

three dogs. Emma Sweet and I agreed that three dogs is probably one too many

for a walk in the woods.

- On our way back from the walk Emma found Kit Kat in a ditch just past Brad's

driveway. I had initially thought it was a raccoon, but Emma noticed that it

looked more like a cat. All three kids were pretty sad at that discovery.
