Nothing really doing in this meeting. Hopefully this will be one of our last
virtual meetings.
Maine Earned Paid Leave Policy most full-time employees get vacation and sick
time to make up for paid leave policies. But part-time employees don't get
enough to time to cover the new policy.
Town Manager Report included crack-sealing being done (Battle, Court, State,
Green and Spring). Street stripping takes place on May 24, 2021 at 8 a.m.
Space restrictions are being lifted on May 24 so folks can enter interior
spaces but they must continue to wear masks. The whole report is attached.
Town Dock Float Repair done by the 21st of May.
Backshore Beach Annual Cleanup We expect that the annual cleaning up of
Backshore Beach will take place this week. In conjunction with this project, a
stormwater swale will be installed in the southwestern corner of the swimming
pond to fix a stormwater drainage problem.
New Castine Fire Station - Phase 2 Port City Architecture agreement for Phase 2, Sit location, site evaluation and engineering design work. Get us the numbers to make us comfortable with size of project. $25,995

Emma picked up some on-sale pork at the grocery store, so we wound up having
tenderloin and a lentil salad for dinner. Quite delicious.

I lost a slug of productive time this afternoon to being kinda sleepy and
getting distracted by HackerNews. After I made myself some coffee things got
better and I was able to kick out some todos, but it's not a great feeling.

Jumping into a selectboard meeting, but so far the day has gone well. A
beautiful day, almost hot, and I got the pig fence cleaned up this morning.
