I found myself moving slowly today. Although, upon reflection my morning was actually very nice. I felt focused while I was doing my office hours at town hall. It was only after having a late breakfast at the Variety that things slowed down for me. It was a really nice time to go out, though the prices there are pretty high, especially for the quality. Emma had hoped to take Silas down to Markel's while I finished my hours, but they're closed on Mondays. Stuck with a sad kid, the Variety seemed an okay stopgap.
23:53 Frustrated
Trying to work though a feature add for our codebase at Elation and it seems like, yet again, there's a sort of disconnect between Tony and myself and the rest of the codebase. In theory, an endpoint for searching for a patient makes sense. In reality, Django's ORM provides most of that functionality automatically, and we do not do internal APIs with any consistency.
So I've been looking at this task for a while now, and it seems to late to push back. But at the same time, I don't actually know how to implement it. I think I need to get something submitted to show progress and then let the code review process suss out the reality.
