Journal
Emma had a UUCC board meeting this morning. So after my 1:1 with Krystian she
took off and I was in charge of the kids. This was complicated by the fact that
Jane and Silas both stayed home from school. Silas had a fever yesterday, so
even though he looked great today, he can't be going to school. Jane just looked
tired and sick. The meeting took 2.5 hours, which, when I texted Emma to see
when she'd be done, she reminded me that when they head to Phoenix things will
be really difficult.
I don't think that's totally fair, as I'll be planning for them to leave and
Silas will be in school for some of the day. In any case, I'll have to figure it
out. Mostly what I wanted was to work downstairs and not on my X220 and a small
screen. But ultimately it worked out fine.
