22:40 Distracted
Got chargers for two old laptops (really 3) that Jess left at our house. I got
kinda excited about putting linux on them and ended up totally distracted. Which
was okay because work is kinda floating by right now. It was nice to have
something to distract me.
I also had a really great mentoring session with Cris this morning. I almost
tried to get out of it, after my morning routine went long. But in the end I was
really glad we talked. This time we had a new project, deprecating Box.com to
talk about approaches towards, and we also got to talk some about the nature of
startups and how to deal with honesty when talking to supervisors.
That helped inform a 1:1 with Kyna where I was able to talk about the burn out I
saw in Ed, Andrew and Ness, and the fact that we're walking from one room on
fire to another.
Besides work, we also had a really good time hanging out at town hall for a
Calvineer's fundraiser. We were able to host Heather and her kids as well, which
worked really well. After dinner there was a bingo game, though there wern't a
ton of folks around. Most likely the cold kept some folks away.
