Partner App Guide
Brief
This document provides an outline for having a discussion with a prospective App Library partner. It provides initial questions, suggestions for follow up questions, as well as the capabilities and limitations of our current App Library.
Questions
Phase 1 Questions for SSO
The goal with these initial questions is to find out how easy an initial SSO integration would be. If the answer to #2 is 'yes', initial SSO integration can be handled by support via the document for adding a new partner app to the App Library (link coming soon).
If they answer 'no' to #2 and 'yes' to #3, an SSO integration is possible, but will likely require engineering work to be fully functional.
1. Can you provide us with an organization-level sandbox account within your app?
2. Do you support common Identity Providers (e.g. Okta, Azure, OneLogin) using subdomains?
3. Do you provide JWT token access to your platform with automated user-provisioning for new users?
4. Can you provide a list customer names hashed via MD5 (or some other mechanism) for finding mutual customers?
Phase 2 Questions for Deeper Integration
The goal with deeper integration questions is to begin exploring how 15Five and the partner can exchange data and what each party hopes to get out of the integration. It's possible that for many partners, aside from user provisioning, there will not be a lot more do.
1. Can you provide a demo of the capabilities of your application (recorded or live)?
2. Can you provide documentation of the API capabilities of your platform along with authentication methods?
3. Can you provide us a brief description of what you hope to achieve with a 15Five app integration?
4. What data would you need from 15Five to accomplish an integration within your platform, and/or have you reviewed our API documentation?
