Another funny feeling day. Overcast skies, but it doesn't seem like it's going
to rain a whole lot. Rather, the temperature has dropped quite a bit and the
bugs are out in force.
I woke up to Asa scream-crying in the dining room because he got left alone with
Silas came upstairs to find me. Emma had run up to Bucksport to pick up Kember
for sailing.
Now Emma has a UUCC board meeting, then I have an interview and lunch with
Jimmy. Then we have Jane's gynmastics show, and picking up the Celica at the
garage on the way. Then I have summer league ultimate. Kind of a crazy day.
I got an email from Thorn yesterday passing on my application. That leaves
15Five and Daupler as the most likely opportunities now. The whole pattern of
Thorn was disappointing. It seemed like they were excited to move forward with
me until they got some other applicant they liked more, and then were happy to
drag me along waiting for the other candidate to accept their offer. Felt pretty
bad. At this point, I'm starting to forget what an offer looks like :)
