Journal

It's actually already Tuesday while I write this, which seems vaguely false, but

not so false that I care.

It rained much of the morning today but cleared off really suddenly just as Emma

was dropping me off for my selectboard meeting. The clear off happend so quickly

that it got really muggy and not for a few hours. By the time Emma picked up Asa

30 minutes later, a cold front had moved back in and it was ten degrees cooler

and cloudy. Pretty cool to watch.

Meanwhile, I was stuck inside for a public hearing on demolishing a house on the

Castine Road. It wasn't fun work, but the neighbors are pretty done with the

owner. This was the same house Jess and Jason tried to fix up while they lived

there. That didn't work really well, and it's been years and the house is

falling down. So now they have 60 days to clean it up or the town's going

demolish the buildings and bill the property owner.
