- Talked through a lot of the issues that came up on the Monday boost yesterday.

I love talking to Harry because we both get to riff on ideas we're kicking

around.

- What if we implemented a Pause Subscriptions feature. Harry noted that is'

something Hulu provides that kinda makes it seem like they're there for you.

That would allow month-to-month customers at risk for churn to simply pause

their payments and downgrade to a basic plan for a period of time.

- I also talked through the virtue of reaching out to customers and the inherent

weaknesses in how we do NPS at 15Five Turns out when you ask everyone in an

org about a cultural app like 15Five some people will naturally be opposed to

it, and some will love it. 15Five can be very polarizing.

- A lot is also part of the implementation. 15Five as a product works best when

folks are aligned on the goals of Best-Self Management

- Solved this rather directly by noticing that we don’t actually need the

customized widget layout that was previously used. So I ripped that out and

swapped in the proper field render code and we should be good to go.

Today

- Another beautiful day today with clear blue skies and an cool breeze over warm

air. I’m excited to get out and run, but I may not be able to because Emma is

going up to Guilford today.

- The day started out pretty frustrating as the pigs were not willing to be

loaded early. As the morning wore on I was getting nervous my day would be

shot taking care of the kids, rather than just my morning. Despite that, once

we got in a groove with the kids everything worked out alright. The kids spent

a while playing outside before coming in for lunch and some Wild Kratts on TV.

- I read some of the history of our world, covering the Persian Empire and it’s

failure to conquer the Greek city-states. The kids seemed to like that and

then spent the afternoon playing in their room.

Sky

The Moon reaches perigee, its closest point to Earth, at 2:09 P.M. EDT. At that

time, it will sit just 221,771 miles (356,905 kilometers) away.

Full Moon occurs 10:35 P.M. EDT tonight. When this phase coincides with perigee,

the event is often called a supermoon. Supermoons appear slightly larger and

brighter than other Full Moons, although the difference is often difficult to

discern. Tonight’s supermoon will steal the spotlight from within the

constellation Virgo, where it is nearly 18° northwest of Spica.
