- Note taken on
- Procrastination is often a form of emotional blockage
- There's something unknown
- Don't judge yourself, reason through why you're emotionally detached from the work
- Territorial knowledge in some domains
- At Ridecell individual engineers enjoyed sharing, but the company culture didn't
- Elation, seems individual engineers did not give room for learning/sharing
- Company as a whole was also not focused around sharing
- Ali v. Foreman analogy with boxing strategies
- Foreman hit hard, won or lost quickly
- Ali had finesse, strategy and treated every opponent differently
- Some people need to live or die everyday, live in the crisis
- Other people are built for endurance
- Related to True Engineering Grit
- Cris noted that Premal at Ridiecell lived for the crisis, but it's hard to live like that for very long.
- Next steps for support engineer proposal, are there Case Studies where Support Engineering Could Help 15Five

Question was what high school teacher influenced you the most. Super obvious answer for me was Brian Reber, who taught me to be curious about things and that while technology is cool, the important thing is what it's enabling us as humans to do for each other. At the core of science and technology is a grasping at the truth of why we do what we do and how we can be better.

@ShaneMetcalf thanks for the challenge of expressing gratitude each day. It's been a different week already here in August, and thinking positive thoughts about my coworkers at the start of every day is no small part of that!
