I think the USB dongle's ethernet port is fried. I can't get linux to pick it
up. I should try rebooting, but I can't afford to right now.

Last night was a bit of a slog. Emma woke me up at 3 to get Daphne in out of
the rain. She's our only female kid this year and while all the kids are
dealing with parasites right now, she's taken the worst of it. I propped a dog
crate lid over her and went back to bed. Thankfully she was high and dry in
the morning.
We'll see whether she makes it through.
