Journal
A little rainy, overcast day. I need to figure out how to manage my time with
my new job. There's something in my head that makes each day with a gravity that
makes my routine seem really important and difficult to change. This is, of
course, preposterous. I ought to incrementally change my routine and be willing
to take steps back while going forward.
Mostly, I'm disappointed that I haven't gotten out for morning runs. But I think
that's an artifact of getting out to run too late in the day and ending up with
tired legs in the morning. Also, I have chaffing in my right groin that does not
feel good.
----
I'm enjoying getting up early so far. I was able to work until about 3 or 4 and
then took a nice long run, picked blueberries with the kids and went home to
watch The Dish with pizza.
It helps that things have not gotten crazy at 15Five yet, but we shall see.
