Back to work. It's a beautiful day today again. Sunny skies and mid to upper

70s. I'm looking forward to doing the historical tours again today, now that my

first week of meeitngs has calmed down some.

I am still trying to figure out exactly what my work schedule will look like.

---

Gratitude today is about being grateful for our homes. For me, place is

important, and there's often a lot of guilt around the ways I'm maybe not doing

my best by my home. There's always other work to do and ways I could be a better

steward. But the reality is that I am lucky to own my own home, and lucky to

have the opportunity to do work on it that's meaningful to me. I love the

history of my home, I love imagining the parade of "land ancestors" who I

haven't met, but know simply because they were familiar with the same corner of

the house, or the way the sun comes in from a window across Penobscot Bay.
