Journal

Woke up this morning to the water being off in the house and Emma at the Big

House having breakfast. I called Osborne's and they said it would be a while if

not next before they could get out here. So I grab the drill, loosened the

screwdown on the plastic pipe coming from the well and pushed the pipe further

in and re-tightened the screwdown.

Apparently the pipe coming from the well came loose and water was just pouring

out over the floor. Jess cut the breaker and then everyone left. So it was an

interesting morning, but we got it figured out.

Talking with Emma while doing dishes, she said she didn't get a lot of sleep

last night and then had to get up early to get the kids to school. She was

making rainbow cupcakes with candy in the center for Silas' school birthday

party. It was a really neat effect, but it took a lot of work on Emma's part.

One of the things we stumbled across while talking was how it's Friday and Emma

was saying she loves the weekend because she doesn't have to worry about getting

the kids to school and she has me.
