Journal
I slept poorly last night. Maybe it was noseeums, or just mostquito bites, but I
woke up at about 4:15 and just couldn't get back to sleep. Emma was up then too
and we comiserated for a bit. I started in on Thinking Fast and Slow, until
about 5:45 when Asa woke up crying. When I went to snuggle with him I fell hard
asleep in his bed with him. It was kind of delightful.
This morning, I did the Castine history tour, which was a little sloppier than
last week, but I also wasn't as serious about preparing for it, so that was to
be expected.
My Daupler interview also got bumped to 2p ... hilariously I ended up on the
phone with a Daupler client at 11 in Arkansas :)
I did get an email from PathAI turning me down. But I also don't know if the
culture of the company and the remote-friendly thing is totally unappealing thes
days, especially given that I have some totally remote options.
It's a beautiful day today, though hotter than it's been in a while. I was
hoping to get some good work done outside, but now my afternoon is sliced up
with interviews. Probably by 5 I'll have some time to go for a run while Emma
picks kids up, and I'll be able to do some work with chickens as the sun goes
down, too.
