Gratitude for digestive system! So grateful for a functioning digestive system. I've known so people with issues where the can't trust their system to do what its' supposed to do, or simply to accept any thing they put in their bodies. That's not me ... I have an iron gut and I often take it for granted.

Today has been a strange feeling. I feel disorganized, but not in the sense of anxiety, just a little aloof. I have a few long running PRs to handle, but mostly am on top of my work right now. Perhaps what I'm feeling is disinterest? In which case, maybe I need to take a break and so something physical and specific.

I also started reading Lives of the Stoics and it's put me in a mood to simplify things. Not sure what's to be gained there with my current mindset, but I'm just sort of unsettled with whatever is most important right now.

Also, the SSO sync with Harry and Holly this morning left me in a funny mood too. Holly was not in a great place with Covid restrictions and such, and I have a hard time experiencing sympathy with those sorts of perspectives because we are such homebodies here. I really don't have much stress around not being able to go out and do things. That isn't the usual flow of our lives.

I woke up late again today. The reason for being up late was reading The Terror close to 2 a.m. I need to do a better job of organizing my life the next few days so I don't feel like I have a reason to stay up. Getting up early would be wonderful right about now.
