Listening to 10 Percent Happier Podcast this morning on my run and the guest was Angela Duckworth who wrote book on grit recently. The most striking idea to come out of the podcast for me though was a passing comment she said where she noted that time, specifically 160 hours in a week, is a Zero-Sum Game. It struck me because a lot of thought these days is given to how many things that seem zero-sum are not. But here's the stark conrast, there ARE some zero-sum games. I wonder if there's a blog post in the idea of what are and are not zero-sum games. In fact, is it possible that time is the only true zero-sum game? This could be neat for the 15Five Engineering Blog

@ShemRajoon thanks for inviting Jeremiah into our boost today. I could have listened to him all day 😆 What a powerful and thoughtful speaker. I just wish we could have been in a big group for his activities ... woulda made it out of sight!

The heat and humitidy have jumped up just a little bit from the last few weeks, and the change is a reminder that my continous improvement in running is constrained by environmental factors. I also had a dream last night that I cut my leg pretty badly. That, I think, was my body remembering that being injury-free is not a promised state.
