Oof, what a governing board meeting today. More than anything I felt sorry for Amy that she was there to watch the dysfunctions of our board. I mean, I suppose it's great experience for her as an intern, as you wont always have nice boards, but still. I was heartend by the fact that after everything I've gone through on the board I'm not alone in frustration. Not that I ever thought I was, but there finally seems to be some animus towards change.
In the meantime, I'm not even sure I want to stand for re-election. My term as VP was one year, and there are a lot of other things going on in my life that I need to get a handle on. Whether or not I do may not depend so much on being on the UUCC board, but it can't help things any, not when the meetings last 3 hours.
