Managed to break Emacs today. An update seems to have caused all my shortcuts to fail. I think there's something having to do with loading using the load-after+ command, but I don't really have time to figure it out for now. Need to get a run in and do a lecture on slime molds for the kiddos before I finish up some admin stuff at work and log off.
At work we had an R&D boost that left me feeling a little out in the open. I enjoyed David's presentation on Monday when he pushed a new plan to nail it and scale it with regards to new work. The idea is to get little things right, make sure they resonate with our customers and then scale those solutions. The issue with 15Five currently that we've lost product/market fit, which is kind of a worst-case scenario for a private equity firm.
Compared to the leadership vision, the product vision is cloudier.

I felt a lot stronger today than I have the past few runs since getting back into a cadence. I will say, however, that stepping outside into a steady 10-15 knot wind from the north was unwelcome. I shook it off and got in some solid miles while using the conditions as an opportunity to check myself and find a way to run warm even when it's cold outside.
