Spent a good chunk of today running around. I enjoy taking the boys to gymnastics, and I get to swim at the Y, but the extent to which it has transformed into me just doing all the Ellsworth errands is bit frustrating. I ended up getting home about 10 minutes before my daily standup. And I hadn't actually done any work since then. I did my best to not think on this too much, but it's been a struggle figuring out what Emma is capable of and what she's not right now. Mostly I wish she could feel better, but I don't know how to help and she doesn't seem to know how to help either. I wonder if we ought to be calling Dani and setting something up.
Otherwise today went well. I had a nice chat with Phill about some database issues. He's a fount of knowledge to be sure. I also finished some PRs that Arjun reviewed. They weren't the prettiest display of coding prowess, but one was solidly out of my wheelhouse and the other was system I'm just getting familiar with. So I'm not gonna beat myself up too much.
