We dropped the kids off at Emma's parents this afternoon and took off for Jesse's birthday in Burnham. It was amazing to arrive and just walk in, and then to depart quickly when we were done. We played Cards Against Humanity and had a great time before taking off for Portland. It still seems a little odd that I start a new job on Tuesday. I'm doing my best to stay with my routine for now, but we'll see how the week works out.
I'm hoping we can keep our spending reasonable on this trip, but I'm sure there will be things that must be bought or paid for. We have a full slate of appointments for dinner, and I'm even having lunch with John from Ridecell tomorrow when we get in, which will be nice.
