Watched the rover land this afternoon. Hard to imagine the amount of engineering involved in that. If you can't celebrate amazing work like that, why should anyone care for all the mundane engineering we do everday? :smile:
After work I spent a little time in the kitchen catching up with Emma. She's becoming more and more frustrated with Hannah Sweet and her inability to communicate unless she needs something. Emma's plan now is to give her a sort of slient treatment and see if she notices. I pointed out that it may backfire if the lack of any communication is more painful to Emma than Hannah. Nonetheless, I don't really know what else she can do. I pointed out that the conversation about the unbalanced relationship would probably best be tackled at a time when they can both be together, rather than over the phone or text. That means likely not until late this year, or even early 2022. We'll see if EMma can last that long.

My day started early with a town-gown meeting at 8. The meeting itself wasn't super useful. It was mostly designed to give the Castine Selectboard information about what Maine Maritime Academy is doing about Covid-19 going forward. Long and short of it was, they're still very much vigilant and trying to reduce amount of time students are on campus.
I also had a partnership SSO sync with Holly Kennedy and Chris Nicol which was super productive. Holly had some really great designs that we reviewed and worked out some of the funkier aspects of adding apps to 15Five.
Aliona and I shared a coffee call this morning as well! She's originally from a small city in Southwestern Ukraine near the Romanian border.
