I so rarely remember my dreams that it's always a little strange when I remember them so vividly as I did today. We were in a post-cataclysm world where resources were rare and we were not really welcome many places. And yet, we were not forbidden to enter the grocery stores, it was just hard to get in. There was a waiting list and you were given a small amount of credits once you were allowed entrance. The transportation to get there was a super fast train-like individual car. But part way through the trip something broke and we had to take a normal bus to the store.
Even as I type this, I realize that I had a moment of anxiety last night when I noticed it will be hard to buy seeds this year. Johnny's Selected Seeds, Seed Savers and Fedco Seeds all have order limits and waitlists in place. I wonder if the dream was a reflection of that anxiety.
