Town
- Talked with Shawn Blodgett on and he noted that there were more than
3,000 hits on Facebook for the notice about folks from away self-quarantining
for at least 2-weeks
- The good news is that most people seem to be taking [[file:../../../../home/powellc/org/20200315015002-covid_19.org][Covid-19]] physical
distancing seriously and Shawn hasn't had to worry about too many people going
out of their way to be social when coming from out-of-state
- Restaurants and businesses downtown have been reminded that Mills' order of
non-essential services shutting down applies to them. T&C is still open but
limiting number of folks who can enter, and have guides on the floor at check
out to remind folks of Physical Distancingphysical distancing requirements.
- Shawn also said he's going to go ahead and talk to the cupola repair folks to
get them to fix Emerson Hall when they're up doing the Main Street Church this
summer
Today
- A beautiful clear spring day, with a bit of a chill to the wind still. I
actually got to be in reasonable time last night, but then missed the
engineering stand-up meeting anyhow so Emma could half-heartedly attend a UUCC
board meeting via Zoom.
- There seems to be a nice routine being establish with the kids enjoying some
structured time for school work, playing outside and indoor reading time.
[[file:../../../../home/powellc/org/20200315013606-emma_sweet.org][Emma Sweet]] has done a great job managing all this.
- The dogs also escaped for the second time in two days. I'm not sure what
Jess's plan is for them, but with spring here they just seem to have a lot of
energy and no interest in staying in the fence.
