23:22 Ice skating
Spent the morning at church and the afternoon on an adventure to Bangor. Turns out with two kids taking ice skating lessons and one a toddler who gets into *everything* it's a bit of a production. Silas was scared about slipping, but was more comfortable on the ice with me. Hopefully as the lessons go on he gets more comfortable. Jane picked right up where she left off last year. Mom and Sarah came up as well, and I commented to Mom that it's amazing how just having time on the ice gets them used to the feeling, so they gain confidence. There are falls ahead, to be sure. But for now Jane is really excited.
Of course, we also marked the occassion with a trip to Kobe and sat at a habachi grill :) That was a lot of fun. Silas, in particular, was entranced with the chef making our dinner, and a lot of fire, right in front of us.
Personally, today was pretty productive. I was feeling slightly overwhelmed by the state of the house, but otherwise have been getting back into using GTD to manage tasks and such. The hardest part is remembering the processing of tasks, an being disciplined about when I do certain things.
