Journal
Daypages plus a little org agenda and Orgzly has turned out to be a really
effective method of getting tasks done for me. I don't necessarily need
fine-grained planning until I start my day, so sorting everything out in the
morning has worked pretty well.
Yesterday was a funny day. I heard back from PathAI about doing an on-site
interview, which was great news, but then Emma and Jess spent a huge chunk of
the evening trying to figure out fencing, only to have the sheep and goats break
out close to dinner and actually eat some of the garden stuff down :(
I don't suppose it would have felt quite so low except that Emma and I were just
out there talking about how things are finally looking good out there. I
reminisced about Dennis eating all our onions. Well, fuck. Turns out we just
have too many sheep and it's just too much of a pain in the but to keep up with
all of it.
I need to get beans in the ground today and tomorrow. It's another beautiful day
today, less windy than yesterday. There was a front that came through without
rain that was pushing the wind, it seems. Curiously, the wind was coming
opposite the front's movement, which makes me wonder if it was some kind of
crazy wind shear on the front that was pushing the wind down and back (front
moving west to east, wind blowing hard east to west)
