After a brief interlude in Portland yesterday we were back in tents to sleep last night. Emma discovered lice on the kids on Friday and we've been working our way through the various steps to rid ourselves of the plague. Initially we thought we'd treat our hair and camp out side for a few days to let the bugs die.

But this morning, after staying out of the house for two days and treating our hair with the generic Nix, Jane still had nits and lice in her hair. Fuck. So it's back to the drawing board. Now we're bagging everything in sight that kids snuggle and washing all our clothes in hot water at the big house. Hopefully the kids can come inside and we'll sleep on borrowed sheets and such.
