Ended up not doing a two-a-day but rather one long run today given the rain when I woke up. For a moment I thought I might try to just run in the rain, but it was cool as well as wet, and that's not a great combination.

The 14 miles today went well. I started counting off the half-miles around Gary's Fuel, which was a little earlier than I would have hoped, but not the end of the world. More to the point, my left foot had a sort of bone-ache in it that almost felt like what a stress fracture feels like for the first 2 and a half miles. I was running very much on my mid-sole, almost back to my heel for those miles, but at some point that I now can't remember, the pain subsided. I was thankful for that.
