Journal
A funny day. I started it out hanging out with Nabby and reading while Emma
worked outside. The kids were playing up in their room. I had resolved myself
not to be frustrated that I wasn't doing work outside. Emma often guilts me with
ideas like that, and I play into them by riding myself harder than I need to.
I could put Nabby on my back and go outside, but most of what I do is difficult
to do with a baby strapped to me. Maybe the same is true for Emma and she
does it anyhow.
In any case, I'm trying to abide more by my stoic habits these days. I'm nervous
that I haven't heard from Rick at ReCharge. But I don't control that, and it's
also the weekend. So I should enjoy my weekend. Hopefully this is a good sign
that they don't expect you to be doing work on the weekend.
