What are we going to do next year?

- Need to link whatever we plan to do with fundraising

- Do we still have opportunity to have OHP come?

- Jonathan Caben said he's still good with the Oliver Hazard Perry next year

- Will they still honor the $10k down and we have another $20k to spend

- Maine History & Women's Leading on the Coast of Maine?

- Maiden with the movie and the ship at the dock

- When we raised all the money for "Women leading the way" ... "It was a part of Maine 200"

- Angst from Hightowers was about not having a plan

- We can still get speakers, the Maiden is probably the only missing piece

- Would need Helen's help with the Maiden

- Need to find out if Maiden is in the picture

- Call and find out if they're coming to the US again

- Bobby: will call the Maiden to see about next summer

- We are actively pursuing Maiden and OHP and reconstruct the original event

- Do we tie it back into Bastille Day?

- Addition of Indigenous People's Day as well

- Just over $52.4k left in the coffers

- Karen has all the books and list of donors

- Tent deposit agreed to roll to 2021

- $11k for chairs and tents

- $20k in addition to deposit for OHP

- Have about $20k left over

- Donations

- $2500 from the state

- $5k from town

- $5k from merchants

- $1k touring company

- 30 donors

- Can we do a full refund for individual donors?

- List shows we can give everyone their money back and call it a day?

- Community and economic development use for Federal money ($53k for two years)

- Invest $12k a year in Visitor's Center, 4 year economic development advisor

- Continues to be a challenge to plan, give folks a time to get their money back

Timeline

- Note taken on

Mom suggested we do lobster for dinner tonight, her treat. We picked them up

from Young's in Belfast already cooked so the meal came together quickly. We

had a really good time hanging out and talking about all sorts of things, but

I opted for a beer when I got there and then ate a bunch of junk food and just

sort of felt off the rest of the night.

I'm not sure how food can make someone feel so bad, but I just felt like it

was work to be social tonight.

- Note taken on

Finally got into a Devops Pair Programming Session today and it was nice

to check in with Caleb and Alden.

After walking through some tech discussions that I couldn't follow about

namespaces and VPCs, Alden and James helped me setup my local CLI to connect

to our cloud51 k8s environment. After that was all setup, the dicsussion about

namespaces made more sense, because right now all the cloud51 pods are in the

`fifteen5` namespace, and as we add environments that wont scale.

- Note taken on

Another hazy day, but thankfully not as hot so the humidity isn't so bad. Had

a send-off call with Krystian Cybulski this morning. I forgot how much I

really enjoy talking with him and his perspective on a lot of things.

One of the more interesting topics we discussed was the nature of asking for

help. He pointed out how eager and willing to help I am. I explained how I

just want everyone to ask for help all the time, but I, in turn often struggle

with when to ask and for how much. We talked about how it's actually really

hard to be comfortable asking for help, but that true community come from

mutual need.

After that call, late this morning, Marko reached out stuck on a Zuora

problem. Within 10 minutes I had checked another piece of Zuora's hilariously

poor documentation and discovered that there was important note we were

leaeving out of the current solution. He was unblocked really quickly and it

just came from asking for help. I love that.
