Somehow I broke emacs ... well, mostly I think I broke my dotfiles and that

caused emacs to barf. I'd rebuild it now, but one of the doom emacs

dependencies is hosted on Codeberg, so I'm shit out of luck on that front.

C'est la vie.

In the meantime, today was pretty good. I got some good work done fixing CI

version bumping for platform-core, and merged a PR to hopefully fix a bug in

reinstatements.

Emma felt kind of off today. She said she was feeling sick, but I wonder how

much having her routine screwed up with kids home sick has made things hard.

She hasn't been the gym hardly at all and is firmly of the opinion now that

even though we're all testing negative for COVID (except Nabby) that going to

the Y would be poor form. I can't totally diagree, but it also feels like

we're back at the start of the pandemic, before folks had vaccines and such.

We're not in that world anymore, and it seems that most of us are not that

contaigious.

I'm also a little stressed about the shingling project on the house. TJ is

pretty convinced that I can do the blow in insulation myself by renting a

tool. But I'm not super confident it what I'm doing. I have CJ Insulation

coming down on Thursday next week to give an estimate for doing the house, and

maybe that's what I lean into and just ask TJ to hold off? But that's just an

estimate. Probably I should reach out to CJ and see what kind of schedule they

have right now.
