- Making Sourdough corn bread and turkey sausage for breakfast today. [fn::] I
think this recipe is going to turn out to be delicious.
- Had a great long run today. I was talking with Emma about how I have a solid
29 weeks before I plan to run my next Marathon, so it's a little silly be
doing long runs. And yet, being this far out gives me tremendous opportunity
to take my time building up endurance. One of the biggest challenges I've had
historically in distances races is having the mental toughness to keep going
when I'm tired. Hopefully this gives me a chance to toughen up mentally.
- I'm pretty excited to have gotten into the 2020 Marine Corps Marathon I kinda
thought I had a good chance, as I figured registrations would be down this
year. And yet, I got in! Now we have an excuse to go see Hannah around
Halloween too.

The waxing Moon is well on its way to Full in just a few days. Tonight, our
satellite sits roughly 19° east of Regulus, Leo the Lion’s brightest star.
You’ll find the pair east of Orion the Hunter, who stands upright above the
southwestern horizon at 10 P.M. local time. The bright star Procyon, one of two
that make up Canis Minor the Little Dog, is roughly halfway between the Hunter
and the Lion. To Canis Minor’s north are the magnitude 1 stars Castor and
Pollux, which form the two heads of Gemini the Twins.
