The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Castine would like to request the use

of the lower half of the Town Common from 2 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 15. The

church is hosting the ordination of our ministerial intern from two years ago,

Ariel Aaronson-Eaves and we would like to use the common for a small reception

after the service. Our intention is to setup a limited number of chairs, a few

small tents (such as found at farmer's markets) and a table with tea and coffee.

Still sleeping in a lot, but felt pretty good when I woke up. Yesterday was a

shit day for a few reasons, most notably because the guy with the '78 Dodge

sold it out from under us.

Emma had put a lot of eggs in that basket and was really sad to lose it. In a

rebound move, given that we were prepared to spend $12.5k on that truck, we're

driving down to Gray right now to look at an '83 F-150 for $18k. The thought

here is to lead with $16 and not go abov $17. We'll see how well we do with

that strategy.

Emma also sold two bouquets of flowers and all our eggs today, which was a

really nice surprise.
