Working today on improving my workflow. I have been haphazardly trying to get work done for a while now and this is my first intentional effort to use my time in a while. There is a certain stress to it, but it's a healthy stress which I find makes my breaks and end of work much lower stress. That seems worth it.
At lunch today I took some time to eat with Emma, who made a fantastic version of dinner last night but with hashbrowns and eggs. It was amazing. When I was done, Emma put Ace down for a nap and I read *Why is the sea salt* to Silas from the Blue Fairy Book. I'm trying to make a more concerted effort to read to the kids, and especially Silas and Ace who I feel aren't getting the same exposure to books taht Jane did. We'll see how we do.
