Today was an auspicious day. After having a nice chat with Andrii to start my day, we headed up to Ellsworth to run some errands. The primary one was to finally get the financing squared away for the wood insert. They're hoping to be able to install it sometime in January. It's going to be really nice to be able to heat with wood again. Oil is nice to have, but it's good to be able to offset the thermostats a bit.

On our way up to Ellsworth we stopped at the Patten Stream Trail in Surry. The hike was really wonderful, walking over pretty steep hills until it bottoms out around the stream with some really neat running water. We missed a turn on the way back and ended the hike on some sort of access trail. But the rest of the hike was great.
