Yesterday was a strange day. I never really got in a groove and ended up the day
feeling slightly off. Jess and Gabe made dinner, which was awesome. Jess even
cleaned up dishes, so I was off the hook there too. But maybe I like that kind
of work? In any case, we ended up playing Settlers of Catan before bedtime, in a
super awkward group game selection process that Emma was running. It took us a
long time to choose, and the game didn't even get setup until 8. I mostly
checked out to hang out with Asa and Nabby instead of play.
Today was much better though. Emma had the scalder filled first thing in the
morning. We were able to get started with turkey slaughter pretty early.
