Had to add a user for a Wellness for Life practice. Pretty straightforward,
though the user's email address was not receiving email with the + added to it
for the given practice location (wayne). So had to reset the password a few
times and update the email address.

Jimmy proposed a Monday in May to setup a hearing on the condeming of the
derelict property on the Castine Road.
Karen also noted that the school budget is down considerably, owing to their
RIFing an ed tech position. Between that and $120K of carry-over from tuition
students last year, the school budget offsets our 4.3% increase in the municipal
budget enough that taxes may actually go down. Karen said the mil rate is likely
to go down about 0.2 points, from 11.45 to 11.25. On the face of it, that's not
a big deal, but generally the hope is to keep the mil rate the same and avoid
sending taxes down and up each year.
Karen proposed some opaque language in the report this year making it clear the
big changes, but not drawing attention to the lower mil rate. I think that's a
solid plan.

Took a look at this issue first thing this morning and realized I was missing a
lot of information. There was no error in Sentry that really jumped out at me
and I left a note for Parker to give me a little more info about email addresses
and file names to track it down.

Figured out that the `elation.util.s3_util.upload_file_to_s3` function was
returning a string representing the s3_location using the Bucket object, not the
string of the bucket name. As a regression, the question is why did that happen,
and the answer is that the upload_file_to_s3 did not have any tests around it.
Opened a PR with the simple fix, and a test to verify that we get the correct
string from that function.

Journal
Started today with an urgent issues ping. Thankfully a pretty easy issue to
resolve, just adding a Wellness for Life user. It turned out to be a little
tricker than normal because the user floats around different healthcare centers.
Otherwise it's been a pretty straightfoward morning. I'm a little frustrated
because I had to reset my org files after committing to the repo from one
computer without pulling first. Diffs of org files are a bitch to deal with in
Emacs. Combined with the fact that I have children crawling all over me and it's
been an interesting morning.

Emma just about bit my head off this morning while she was clearing out the tea
shelf in the cupboard. I had noted that we needed to get the sap reducing as
soon as possible so we were ready for more sap in the next few days. She said
she was already feeling attacked for not clearing things out, and was finally
doing it and now being told to do something else. I tried my best not to react,
but ended up kinda staring her down. The whole seemed absurd. I obviously wasn't
telling her to stop what she was doing, just saying something outloud so we all
heard that it was something we had to get done.

Peter managed to copy two documents for make up assignments today before going
down for a nap. He had the balls to suggest that Emma was able to take naps
whenever she wanted to. I appreciate that Peter is working with a more narrow
perspective than us, but I belatedly thought about lecturing him a little on how
we're not so far gone from our hunter gatherer forebearers, and that in that
culture, when you didn't provide benefit to yourself or others in some form or
another you just got left behind.

I need to remember to not chide the kids so much for things that come to them
naturally. Silas tends to ramble. I need to listen attentively, or let him know
I'm not listening. It's not fair to just let him talk without listening. With
Jane, when she goes to bed wired, I need not make her feel bad about it, but
remind her that I do the same thing and give her some tips to help calm down,
like focusing on breathing or counting off numbers as high as I can go.
Work log
Finally figured out the bug that was causing the internal tool to not allow
sending files. Turns out it was a change in expected output from an s3_util
function that I was using to store flies on S3. It was sending back an
s3_location string built from a boto Bucket object, not the string name of the
bucket. Once I fixed that everything worked fine.
Parker escalated the issue near the end of the day to a P0 becuase they
literally can't setup API integrations for new practices without this
functionality. So I need to coordinate getting the fix QA'd first thing tomorrow
so I can slip it into the release tomorrow night. It's a pretty minor fix and
unlikely to cause regressions anywhere else.
In other news, I tried a few things to get the BMI CDS to correctly not appear
when it has a CQM doc tag dimissing it to no avail. Need to start hitting it
with a hammer or something.
Our afernoon as a FIGmd team was taken up talking over the general architecture
of the current calculator and how it interacts with CDS. Ed had requested the
meeting, and while it's purpose was not immediately clear, the utlility of the
long uninterrupted strech of time meant we all got a real good idea of what
about the calculator is a black box to most of us, and what is pretty easy to
understand. There wasn't a lot actionable out of the meeting, but still really
useful for getting on the same page about a number of things.
I'm also on urgent support for the next three days, so as a buffer on my time I
took off a little early to help with house things. Indeed, I got pinged around
nine, thenkfully after the kids were in bed with a request for help burning data
to a CD. I called the person back but got an answering machine. I then sent
along a link with some pretty easy to follow instructions for burning a CD in
macOS. When she called me back we walked through a little of the instructions
and she felt comfortable so we finished up.
