For some reason I had a lot of meetings that just took up headspace today. Tomorrow doesn't look a lot better and I'm stuck thinking about how to execute on all the different priorities I have without getting burned out. One of the nice aspects of using GTD as opposed to something like Todoist is that I don't have the tyranny of having to check things off. If I don't get things updated, it's not the end of the earth. But I am also not doing a great job at the moment of processing my inbox or reviewing my someday list. So somethings gotta change there.
THe selectboard meeting today was interesting, with Par Kettis expressing frustration at the rental registration ordinance we're reviewing right now. I think we did our best trying to respond to him, while not saying he was wrong. In fact, I think much of his comments were right, in terms of the document being too complicated. But his argument was based in the idea of this being a controlling document, and that seems sort of baseless. Rather, it's a way for town officials to access a responsible party when something happens late at night.
