Last night was funky because Nabby was sleeping really restlessly and I ended up bringing her to be with us. That was at about midnight and I finally got to be a little before 2. She woke me up at 7:30 and I rolled out of bed at 8:15 and barely got coffee made before my stand up with Andrii. In the end, Andrii had Zoom issues and I was late, so we just called it off.
The estimation session was next, and that went well. Mostly we were estimating the new ADP Integration with 15Five which is really just a duplication of the Workday code. Thankfully, Andrii added a ticket at the end of the Epic to look for commonalities between the two integration and start to streamline it.
In our gathering today, Harry K told us that he's being promoted to a product director for the Plus group (whatever that means). For Partnership Squad it basically means a huge churn in getting things done. This was all precipitated by Katia leaving to start her own company. That's understandable, but just one more chink in the armor of 15Five's overall staffing. Seems a lot of follks are looking for a change these days.
