Had a good talk with Andrii this morning. I was nervous going into it because
of the state of some of my PRs and general inability to work quickly on tasks.
A big revelation this week was the power of questions. But questions can
expose vulnerabilities. I think I don’t like being wrong. But then I am wrong
and I get stuck in a negative feedback loop. Eventually it starts feeling like Impostor Syndrome

Had a really great and wide-ranging conversation with Cris this morning. We
mostly talked around questions and how I tend to paint myself into a corner. I
kinda kept coming up with the analogy of asking my co-workers
StackOverflow-like questions. Like would they get tired of hearing from me
with all my pedantic questions.
Cris suggested flipping questions on their ear. Instead of asking how to do
something, ask why something is the way it is. In the case of ENG-8855 that
would mean asking why there’s a function to drop all unused fields. Is there
an important reason to do that, or was it just some sort of early optimization
for not doing more work than we have to?
