Journal
I've started the last few days off really slowly. I have historically enjoyed
getting the little tasks done, but lately I haven't been able to do that. This
morning I also managed to get my wires crossed about my mentorship call with
Cris. So when he pinged me I was only 50% sure we had a meeting this morning.
Nonetheless, it was a nice chat. We talked about the issues with startups of the
past, and the nature of relationships in work. Sometimes it's not that a company
is inherently bad, but that it's bad for individuals in particular times.
Elation had a nice product and there were some great people there like Andrew,
Ed and Ayhan. But it was the wrong place for me at that time.
Otherwise things plod on. I'm thinking about trying to get a short run in today,
but it's still cold out.
